Guest guest
Hi , Sounds like you've already started having fun with this whole LONG process!! Yep, you definitely have to be assertive (or nicely aggressive!) sometimes to get things done. But always be your nicest because you'll depend on these people later to make things happen for you or NOT. Who knows how it will work out in the end... if not this delay, you may have had another.... Sometimes it's hard to tell with the orthodontics how long it'll take to be ready for surgery anyway. Good luck! I hope that your doctor's office finally got it figured out and everything ultimately works out for you! I understand your frustration planning around breaks. I had originally intended to have my surgery done at the beginning of winter break. That didn't work out due to SLOWNESS on the parts of a couple of people along the chain. So I ended up having the surgery over spring break. Well a week is hardly enough time and subsequently I've missed class and am behind. Thank goodness I am not in a degree program or anything right now. But, I do know hard it can be to plan. Hang in there. katja > > I haven't even had surgery yet and I already need to complain. > Actually, I don't even have braces yet.
