Guest guest
#1 if you are at this site, you are not alone. And as the moderators will tell you, it takes a little bit to get medication all straightened out, but alot of us have lived a long time with this illness. Now as to the chest pain, you need to know that sarc can affect the nerves in your heart, I have cardiac sarc, and it required a pace maker in 1999 and some cardiac meds to control. This is not the worst thing if you end up needing a pacer, when mine was put in I felt 100% better. My problems started as chest pain, fatigue, and a very low to very high, irregular heartbeat. Sarc likes nerves and had basically miswired my heart, the pacer rewired it. I don't have any blocked arteries even after all this time and despite the fact that sarc likes to play with your cholesteral, etc. If you stay in tune with your body, and it sounds like you already are, you can do better than you think. You do have to pay attention & listen to your body; when our bodies say rest...rest. The moderators on this site are excellent, and many of the people on this site not only have the illness but once were, or still are in the medical field. They have had to learn and research what to do with problems when they come up, and they have a wonderful and bountiful stockade of information for us. You are a young man, and you are a disciplied individual from what you write, it's doable./////Connie (More than a decade a sarc) Subject: chest painTo: Neurosarcoidosis Date: Saturday, April 4, 2009, 12:50 PM I'M 32Y/O MALE DIAGNOSED 3 YEARS AGO WITH SARCOID. BIOPSY OF CHEST LYMPH NODES CAME BACK AS SARC. ACE READING AS OF LAST WEEK SHOW THAT IT IS INACTIVE. I HAD AN EKG FOR A YEARLY PHISICAL AND AN IRREGULAR HEART RHYTHM SHOWED UP ON ONE OF THE 12 LEADS. I FOLLOWED UP WITH A CARDIOLOGIST AND AM UNDERGOING TESTS. MY QUESTION IS WHY DO I HAVE CHEST PAIN ON AND OFF. I'M ACTIVE, AND RUN EVERYDAY. I HAVE BEEN A- SYMPTOMATIC UP UNTIL NOW. MY WIFE AND CHILD HAVE BEEN VERY GOOD AND SUPPORTED ME ALL THIS TIME, BUT NOW I'M HAVING ALOT OF ANXIETY ATTACKS. I USED TO BE ABLE TO TALK MYSELF OUT OF THEM, BUT RECENTLY I CAN'T. I HATE TAKING MEDICINE. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THESE PROBLEMS? I KNOW THAT I COULD HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH SOMETHING FAR WORSE THAN SARC, BUT I SEEM TO THINK AND WORRY ALL THE TIME. I REALLY DON'T KNOW ANYBODY ELSE THAT HAS THIS PROBLEM(SARC) . I HATE TO SOUND LIKE I COMPLAINING, BUT I AM SICK OF FEELING ALONE IN THIS WEIRD PROBLEM THAT I HAVE. Guest guest
ZZ, Brother I just want you to know that you are not alone here. I found so many informative, supporttive, and caring friends here. Start by listening to Tracie. She will tell you how it is and give links to more info. If you need to vent then do it. But please know we out here do care about you and everybody eles. I've have learned to control my anxiety (anger) attacks with BioFeedBack and prayers. That is just controling your heart rate and breathing. It might not work for you but it works for me so I suggest it to you. Now doesn't work for flash backs.. Wishing you pain-free days, Greg aka Krumdawg. > > I'M 32Y/O MALE DIAGNOSED 3 YEARS AGO WITH SARCOID. BIOPSY OF CHEST LYMPH NODES CAME BACK AS SARC.
