Guest guest
My 8 yr old son (PDD-NOS) has been on the diet for about 4 weeks. For 12 months prior to that we had been doing the Feingold diet (before we had him diagnosed, we had thought he was ADD). When we went GFCF, I basically went off Feingold, thinking that there would be too many restrictions on what he could eat. Well, since starting the diet we have seen a definite increase in his aggressive and rather oppositional behavior. Is this a case of his system detoxing, and we are seeing things get worse before they get better, or is the reintroduction of some non-Feingold items the culprit? I guess I am asking, is anyone doing gfcf AND Feingold who would like to share food lists? I am seriously thinking about trying both at the same time. I would think it would just be a matter of cross-checking brands. Thanks, June in OH
