Hi Graduate Group !!!

What a thrill to FINALLY be able to post here. Yesterday was my one year

anniversary of my open RNY. It is so hard to believe it has already been a

year. So much has happened in the course of 365 days---which everyone here can

relate to. I had my surgery at Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia (just

outside of Washington D.C.) by Dr. Roll. I must add that Dr. Roll is a

" protein shake believer. "

I weighed 279 the morning of surgery and now weigh 150. I would like to lose 10

more. This summer I am having quite a bit of plastic surgery. Two weeks ago I

had my face lift---no more turkey neck and no more saggy skin on my upper eye

lids---WHOO-HOO!!! July 23, will have the arms and boobs done and Aug. 15th

will have the stomach and legs. From that point I will be good to go. I have

become a " gym-junkie " as well as a competitive swimmer. Yep....at age 50 I have

joined a Master's Swim Team and now compete with others my age----it is just the

absolute best. There are no words to describe how I feel now and the feelings

of such great accomplishments. I study and research daily but learn the most

from this site as well as the protein site. I have " met " many of you from the

protein site and have been following the adventures of everyone on this site for

many months. I look forward to attaining the knowledge you all have and I look

forward to becoming friends with many of you

here.
