Guest guest
Jane, How about telling them you had pain the last time, and asking them to use some numbing stuff? I'm not thinking injections here... Just some of the stuff my regular dentist uses to numb the area before he does the novocaine injections. He does it (or has his assistant do it) with Q-tips, which sit there for a few minutes. (Yep. All my docs know I'm a real baby.) The taste is nasty, but they do the trick. Perhaps you could even do it yourself with ora-jel, but don't try that without your docs' permission first... Will I make you hate me if I tell you I was never even aware of my few stitches? -- at least until I started chomping on the scar tissue. Then I was really aware of where he'd done his snipping and slicing. C. > > Well Cammie, > > You are right about the stitches.
