Plateau

I am a little down the past few days bc Jane has reached a plateau. I

know I had read some of you had that experience. It's just that in

the 7 weeks we have been gfcf, she has been doing remarkably well

(sleep through the night, longer attn span, less hyperactivity). The

past few days, however, she has been having her pre gfcf night fits

(waking up and crying). She has also been much more impulsive(bites,

hits, sits on, etc. brother for no reason, except maybe he got too

close to her). I actually thought today that she might be out of

control in a few years if this keeps up. She's only 2 now. I even

told my dh last night that I was sick of this gfcf diet and did he

think it was worth it? Well, this man is the world's pickiest eater

and has wholeheartedly endorsed the entire house being gfcf(down to

the dish detergent!), which suprised me. He is also a chem. engineer

(yes, I do think a pedi. for a dh would be the worst!)who only thinks

in black and white. But that's beside the point. My dh said, " Yes, it

has helped, we need to continue " . So, I know it is helping/has

helped. I just need to hear that a plateau is ok, to stop now would

lead to greater regression, etc...I need a boost! Why has she

plateaued?(Is that spelled correctly? Looks funny)Do I need to be

searching for hidden culprits? There is the dreaded corn that I have

been suspecting she might have problems with. But that is soooo

frightening to think of gfcf and corn free!!!! Thanks for listening.
