Guest guest
My baby, , is 8 months old and is in his sixth week in the Markells. He has had no issues adjusting and his foot is fully corrected and looks great. (Unilateral on the left, metatarsus on the right) I have been obsessing about getting the shoes tight enough so his heel won't move and so he won't get blisters. So far he has been fine, but I wonder often if his heel is in well enough. He has narrow heels and they don't fill up the hole in the back of the shoe nor are they always flat on the bottom of the shoe when he crawls (he has the open-heeled kind). He is on the small side for an 8 month old baby and does not have a lot of that baby fat on his feet. When I try to get the strap into the tightest notch, he fusses quite a bit, I think because there isn't much fat on his foot to cusion the strap and it hurts. So, my questions are: Does his heel need to fill the back up in order to keep his correction? or As long as he is having no problems, things are going ok and I shouldn't worry? Thanks, I am so glad you all are here! and (6-19-05 lcf FAB 23/7)
