Guest guest Posted February 20, 2005 Report Share Posted February 20, 2005 I would suggest you choose the ortho you are most confident and comfortable with and ask him/her to recommend a surgeon. At my first surgery consultation, he told me he does not under any provider but can often get coverage as an out-of-network provider and then helped me through the process. I don't believe you can get pre-approval so far in advance - though I could be wrong- and just remember... the braces do a lot of good on their own and the earlier you get them on, the earlier you get them off.
