I am in the exact same boat with my Jack. So, I was drawn to your

email and pics. I think Lyla's head looks great. Keep in mind that

CT is trained to see even minor imperfections. If the pics are

giving the true story, I would not go for the 2nd band.

However,if you will have a future regret, go for it.

Hi Sandy-

I couldn't get a great assessment of Lyla's flat spot itself but I

think I do still see some minor forehead bossing. It's a little hard

to tell from the angle of the photos. Forehead bossing has always

been my biggest concern with my son, so based on that, and her age,

I would consider a second band. I would say if you have any doubts

about NOT doing it, it would be best to do it. I think if we hadn't

done a second one I would be wondering " what if. " Not sure I've been

any help, but that's just my take on it. Keep us posted on your

decision. Good luck!

My son is two now, and I hardly ever post anymore here, but I

happened to see your note, and I looked at Lyla's pictures.

Personally, I think she looks fantastic so congrats to you for a job

well done. My son also graduated at 9 months, and he was still a

back sleeper.....I worried like crazy that he would regress. I

can't say for certain, as he has not been scanned since... but if

there have been any changes, they have been small. It's been a long

battle to accept that his head will never be perfect but there comes

a point where you have to decide for yourself what is acceptable and

what isn't keeping in mind that no human head is perfect. I think

your daughter's head is gorgeous as is, but your parent instincts

are what you should trust. You will probably ALWAYS notice some

imperfections that no one else will see - I still notice it when my

son is in the bath, but no one outside of me and his Dad would be

able to spot it. It's a tough road. The more hair they get, the

more it helps. :)
