Guest guest
What a coincidence... I was just going to write about Tom Cruise on a completely different note...Last night I watched the movie " Magnolia " for the first time and was tickled by the number of teeth/jaw references in the movie. H. Macy craves braces and has a crush on a fellow actor in the film who wears them. He also keeps referring to his desire to have " corrective surgery " which is not expanded upon, but humorous none the less. Another charachter in the film points out her cracking TMJ sounds and, my favorite... there are quite a few very close up scenes of Mr. Cruise- pre-braces. My boyfriend has a pretty large home theatre system so I could get a pretty good look from my seat but let me tell you... the mans ENTIRE upper jaw is totally off-center! At some scenes, you can also see the asymmetry of his jaw and that his chiseled cheeks & chin do not, in fact, match on both sides.... but more surprising, where his top lip dips in the center, it is centered on top of a single tooth, not a center line- not even CLOSE to a center line! Listen gay, straight, old, young- the man is sexy (not as sexy as ny Depp in my humble opinion- but especially in this movie... despite his gross hair, his chisled jaw and muscled body in this movie is startlingly attractive) I am now curios to see a more recent film where they may have similar close-ups to see if in fact his center line is centered... if it is, I can't imagine that it could have been moved there with braces alone. Just my opinion. Tova > > 'Tisn't much of a secret, Zulu, having been a much denied rumor in > the tabloids for a long time...
