oh wait, what do you mean by thinner? the standard old navy

socks? the ones that are 7 for $10? these are the ones you'll want to use.

Thicker socks never worked for us. anything much thicker than the

old navy ones just made impressions on her skin.

It may look dorky, but you can pull the toes of the socks out, kind of

blousy so the seam is not under the strap. Just until her foot grows

a bit. Either that or get socks with no seam, I just recently bought

some at Kohls that don't have one (no grippers though).

Kori,

Yes, it is the standard Old Navy socks. We had the thicker ones

before (I foolishly thought those would give her a little padding,

but it only helped make pressure sores in the Markells). Don't know

why I didn't think of blousing out the socks. I guess I thought that

I wanted to be able to see where her little toes are (the shoes are

really long- way past her toes, but I'm sure that's to give her a

lot of growing room). I'll try those, and I will go to Kohls and get

some of the seamless socks today, too. Thank you so much everyone.

This site is a true blessing! =-)

Hi, ,

We use the same Old Navy socks on Lily who is also

in the s. I give the socks a tug after the shoes

are on so that the seam comes out from under the toe

strap (and thus doesn't get pressed into her foot). Do

you think that might help?

Would thicker socks be better or worse (the seam is pretty much the

same in the thicker socks, and it was in the thicker socks that she

developed her bad pressure sore a couple of months ago in the

Markells)? She has been sleeping so well in these wonderful s,

so I know that it is not hurting her, but the crease may be sort of a

nuisance. I just want to halt it before it does develop into something

worse. Any thoughts?

Thank you!
