Help! - blisters on big toes (I think?)

When we took Rory's Markell shoes off tonight we saw he has swelling/lumps on

the pads

of each big toe. Are these blisters? They look like his toes have a lump on

them, they are

not like a normal blister (it doesn't look like the blister is on the surface

such that we

could pop it...does that make sense?). The lumps are nearly 1/2 the size of his

big toe

and are on the bottom and close to his #2 toes.

What do we do? I'll call the doctor in the morning, but I recently read someone

else had

problems with toe blisters in Markell's. Can anyone tell me if these are

blisters? If so,

what should I do...soak his piggies in epson salts??!!!?
