Talk to a good lawyer and see what your options are! Someone posted that this surgeon doesn't believe in weight loss surgery...then why the heck is he performing them?! I wonder how many other patients he made this awful mistake on?! How many other post-op patients of Dr. Deviny's are mentally beating themselves up because they aren't losing the weight they thought they would?! Hmmm...makes you wonder doesn't it?! Last I heard, OHSU did NOT want to expand the bariatric dept and that was Welkers dream. They even did not provide him with his own office and he had to carry around his patients paperwork in his briefcase everywhere he went! He is glad to be out of there!!
