I thought i'd say hello and thank you for this site, I have reading

all your messages for the past two weeks before my surgery and it

really helped me. I'm now 4 days after surgery and although im not

100% i am feeling ok as I knew what to except from all your

discussions. At the moment the swelling has started to decrease and

yellow bruising is appearing ( a shade of Bart Simpson ).

I also had my wisdom teeth taken out at the same time, in uk im told

by my OS that they normally take them out 3 months before surgery,

but

not in my case, however I have preferred it this way ( over and done

with in one go! ).

Hi ,

I am glad you found this site prior to your surgery. I am sure it has

really helped you understand more of what is happening and what lies

ahead. I am still pre op, but there are several post op people here

who can help you with questions you have in the next few weeks.

Did you have upper and lower or single? Anyway, glad you found this

site, and welcome!

Fran
