TMJ and jaw surgery(upper&lower)

My sister had her surgery Feb 7 and had complications. The right

lower

jawbone shattered when the Dr. tried to section it, which required a

bunch more work and screws. She is still taking regular pain meds &

Imitrex for the migraines. The right side of her face is finally

starting to work again, except for the eyebrow. (eek!) Anybody out

there had a similar situation? I'm supposed to have the same surgery

sometime next year, same Dr.(if I can get insurance squared away) but

boy am I nervous after seeing what she has been through. He is the

main doctor in Oklahoma to do this surgery. She is a member of

this

program too.
