Guest guest
First, this is a cross post because I am in total brain freeze at the moment. Please forgive me this time. I had RNY 38 months or so ago, and last Monday my wife, after much deliberation and uncertainty over these three years finally decided to have it herself. We did her pre-op admit stuff on Friday and as a part of that we insisted that she get a serum pregnancy test. It was negative so we proceeded and she has done exceedingly well with the surgery which is exactly one week old at this very hour. Last night, since she did not have her cycle on schedule in the hospital, she did a home test,,,,and yes,,,,,it was positive,,,,,,this morning another serum test, and it is a certainty. She is pregnant. We are both in shock and really really scared and uncertain right now. We have consultations with her ob/gyn coming up and we will be seeking shared experiences on the OSSG-Pregnant group. Just wanted to post, cause I do not know what else to do at the moment.
