Guest guest
> You do not have to put up with all these visiting firemen who want you to put out their fires. Would you insist on inserting yourself in a situation where your friends found it a taxing experience? Of course not! Tell your husband, your kids, whoever might be around and trying to help you that what you really need is some rest, which I am sure you do. That nobody who's just had surgery is likely to be up to entertaining, and that even if most they've known have been, you are NOT. If there's something helpful, like looking after the kiddo for you, invite them to take that on! Nothing wrong with that. If they really want to help you, they will either try to find out what they might be able to offer, or back off. If they don't really want to help you, this isn't the time for you to accommodate/ entertain them! I can't say that enough times. I don't go to hospitals to visit people who are post-op for just that reason. I do sometimes try to help their families get through the post-op period with food delivered, books to be enjoyed, etc. But right now, it's the time for you to stamp your little skinny foot, and say thanks, but leave me alone!!! Lock the door, if need be. Do, however, find out from your docs, husband, whoever, what the heck is going on with your jawbone and throat. You may be ready for some antibiotics/steroids/whatever... Red bmps could also be that acne sort of reaction to the diet/steroids/etc. Get somebody to call your surgeon's office to ask for help. C. > Well, I guess I'm just having a hard time.
