Guest guest
I'm here in Canada. I bought the Conair waterpik unit. The thing I like about it is that it has a cover for the water unit. Post-op, you need to be careful if you use it - make sure it's on the lowest setting and don't point at the stitches. I also bought a Sonicare toothbrush, it worked great except post-op my teeth were a bit more sensitive so I couldn't use it for awhile. Brace Relief is a silicon-based substance that actually sticks to braces better than wax. I had no pain with braces but my cheeks seemed unusually prone to cuts, and this was a godsend. Oracare makes a product that you can paint over a cut, this was useful too. Glide floss-threaders are floss and a threader built in, individually packaged. I hate those flossthreaders! Also, little travel proxybrushes are great for getting in between the brackets and wires. Thanks for letting me reminisce about being in braces again! > > Hi again, > Does anyone recommend any particular brand of waterpik to get?
