I'm here in Canada.

I bought the Conair waterpik unit. The thing I like about it is that

it has a cover for the water unit. Post-op, you need to be careful if

you use it - make sure it's on the lowest setting and don't point at

the stitches.

I also bought a Sonicare toothbrush, it worked great except post-op

my teeth were a bit more sensitive so I couldn't use it for awhile.

Brace Relief is a silicon-based substance that actually sticks to

braces better than wax. I had no pain with braces but my cheeks

seemed unusually prone to cuts, and this was a godsend. Oracare makes

a product that you can paint over a cut, this was useful too.

Glide floss-threaders are floss and a threader built in, individually

packaged. I hate those flossthreaders!

Also, little travel proxybrushes are great for getting in between the

brackets and wires.
