your post brought tears to my eyes!! You are right on and really hit home

for me. Since my surgery I've lost 130lbs and my husband tells me I'm obsessed

because I come to this site everynight to read posts and look at the

before/after pics. This site has been a life saver for me in many ways. It also

helps

me keep focused on the purpose of going through surgery and keeps me motivated.

It sure is a wonderful feeling when people tell me that I'm looking so good.

I've been on maternity leave so usually the only adult conversation I have is

with him. He tells me that it's one of the best things I've done other than

giving birth, but then also tells me that I'm too focused on myself. So

sometimes I don't feel the support from him. Anyhow, the feeling is wonderful

to be

able to run after my daughter or even have her wrap her arms around my leg

(she's 2 1/2). I do have a wonderful friend that has been very supportive and

is

waiting for her approval for the surgery as we speak. I do have to thank

everyone here though for their support and willingness to share their

experiences.

It has been very helpful to be able to know there are others out there going

through the same things I am.
