easy way out

Some people want to punish " fat " people for whatever their sick reason is.

I was thinking about replies we could use.

For instance, when accused of taking the easy way out by having wls ...

we could ask if they took anesthesia during any dental work or surgery in

the past. When they say " Yes " , we could say, " Oh, you took the easy way

out! "

Can someone think of others?

Why not try: " You are uninformed, bordering on the criminally stupid;

next year, I shall be slim! "

n,

Most people who make those 'easy way out' or 'you cheated!' comments

are MO themselves and need to belittle others success in order to

justify the dieting yo-yo they're feel is the only option for them.

I can be a sarcastic *itch at time, but I would try to at least get

them thinking if possible, even if I was slightly sarcastic in the

process! *grins* If someone told me I took " the easy way out " , my

response would probably be, " That's because the 'hard way' doesn't

seem to be as successful does it ? " As for someone being stupid

enough to say I " cheated " ? My response would be that " The only thing

I cheated was Death, but I still have to pay my taxes "

Remember when we were talking about people saying this is taking the easy way

out? Geesh! I know that ain't so now. I have to get geared for all the

stuff I have learned on this and a month of hell and then maybe I will start

feeling human again. At least that is what I have gotten as an impression

here!

But, I was thinking of asking back to anyone who says it was the easy way out

-

did you ever break a bone? did you have it set and wear a cast? You took

the easy way out. You should have just let it heal on its own.

Yes, , I remember well... Sorry that it still *IS* hell for

you. My guess is that if you had an experienced DS surgeon who

believed in the procedure, and not Deveney, your problems would not

be as great as they are. But, yes, I recall every day looking for

another report on you from Gobo and just shaking my head. I hope

your angels help to heal you quickly.
