Guest guest
, Like Marla, I can't remember if you have done Remicade? I know Cellcept is the next generation, but there is still Enbrel and Humira-- and those might work even if Remicade is not a choice. I know we'd have some members on Cytoxan-- so I hope they can share. Methotrexate alone doesn't get it done. It'll help with some of the problems, but I've yet to see anyone have luck with that exclusively. As with ALL the immunosuppresants, you need to supplement Rx grade Folic Acid daily. They all wreak havoc on the B vitamin levels. I don't know if you read my post on the Remicade, and having been off it for 10 weeks, I can tell you that I do SO MUCH BETTER WITH IT! And even it is not handling all the stuff going on. It didn't help that it took months for them to figure out that I had a collapsed lung with some serious infection going on. .. Make sure you check out WWW.SARCOIDSHARMA.COM and if needed, send him an email-- maybe he and your Neuro can connect and he can help with your choices. My doctors only have one NS patient ME. But the Remicade is working, so will stick with that, my doc said we could add the Methotrexate back, I was on it before. Good luck I hope it all works out for you. Blessings.
