Guest guest
Hi, Pam -- I had to piece my own together. Read all you can about the RNY and how it is put together, and then how the DS is put together, then look at the stats and specifically look at the percentages of excess weight loss and maintenance. You could cite the peer review literature (available in one place for DS in a .pdf file in duodenalswitch.com, very nicely in one place, thanks !) I have written something but have yet to do the citations. Then you try to see the differences and write it down. Chris Hull has very good understanding and if you look at his aetna letter he breaks it down very well. I would like to see more stats on the RNY in one place, if anyone knows.... -------------------- You wrote: Happy Labor Day ALL!!!! Hey, I was wondering if somebody could tell me IF and WHERE I might be able to fight actual documention (meaning a published doctor's report on line somewhere) that shows that the DS is a better surgery than the RNY?? I know that WE all believe it is, but I am trying to convince someone else who would like to see an actual doctor's report. I vaguely remember people talking about reports that have been published and are internet accessible. So if any of you could direct me to where I might find this info, I'd greatly appreciate it!! ----------------- =============================== Hawkins netmaker2@... =============================== " Those who can't laugh at themselves leave others to do the job!
