Guest guest
Hello I think I have a few suggestions for you and welcome. first you said Hunter's beverage of choice; in fact, the ONLY thing he'll drink, is cow's milk. He refuses water, juice, soda, etc. He also loves yogurt (didn't even mind the switch to plain). This is one reason why I really think that the diet might help him (because of his milk cravings). When we first went gfcf{we did casein free first then worked up to gluten free} My son was drinking 2 gallons of cows milk a day.I t was his favorite too. I knew my son liked sweet things so I picked a vanilla Soy milk. I cut regular milk with the Soy milk till it was all Soy. I t was a gradual process that took about three days but it made the new milk acceptable to him. Now I can switch between soy ,rice or darifree{he does not like darifree plain but the chocolate form he does like} I like rice milk best because I can make it at home and save money. Now for yogert-Dakota never did eat much of it but Silk brand soy yougert are good. I f you like the whold soy brand it is gfcf too. The main menus you listed look gfcf already-with the exception of the pasta which you just need to switch to a gfcf pasta-tinkayada pastas taste very close to the real thing. Next were snacks-grahm crackers-you will need a gfcf kind-I think I use health valley rice bran crackers to sub for grahm and he liked them. And for animal crackers at www.missrobens.com they now have a mix fro gfcf animal crackers which is very good. You do have to make these{they dont come ready made} and will need to get the tiny set of cookie cutters too but they are soooo good. www.edwardandsons.com has alot of organic and gfcf snack type foods too. Welcome to the group and good luck to you F
