Guest guest
And beer does have good calories, best I know. (It's not sickly sweet, either.) I once took a six-pack to a friend who was skin and bone, dying (as I found out two days later) from AIDS, when he left us. I had no scruples about that at all, and you shouldn't either, unless it jeopardizes you or your child's well being. I'm not saying to get swashed... But sometimes a bit of booze can promote the appetite and add some calories, too. Egg Nog!!! Can you try some orajel or anbesol on those itchy, stinging stitches? I don't know. But they're numbing... And one suggestion: if you're feeling woozy, probably the bathroom isn't the best place to sit down. There are a lot of hard surfaces in there, and not a lot to help you with stability. Plus, it's very private, and if you fall and clonk (God forbid) your jaw and do some damage, you'd have to wait for someone to find you. How do I know? I did a dumb thing once, got weak and fell out clunk! Fortunately for me, the bathroom was next to an office and someone heard me and came running. It wasn't after surgery, and I did no damage, but I think I was really lucky. My surgeon's assisting partner later told me that probably the only way I could hurt myself post-op was in a fall. You gotta take care of your skinny self, get some nutrition in and get yourself back in shape! C. > > Thanks Cammie, > > I know...And to top the day off guess what I feel right now? Guest guest
Your right Cammie! I hate to say it but having me a good old Corona with lime (that's all we have because my husband drinks it) sounds like an interesting change! And maybe fun too! Well, next time I feel faint I'll call someone or try to get some help. I have a really bad problem with trying to be al smiles when it comes to how I really feel as to not inconvenience anyone. I'm starting to learn my lesson I guess. On a different note, my poor sister unaware commented that I have sooo much grey hair (I'll be 26 and shes 31) We look the same age (nd act it) along with how skinny I am and how we are going to fatten me up when all is said and done. As if I need any help with that!! I think stress causes grey hair. It started appearing my first year of teaching and multiplying rapidly after that! Also, I think starvation may cause grey! What do you think?? Jane > > > > Thanks Cammie, > > > > I know...And to top the day off guess what I feel right now? A > soar > > scratchy irritated throat! I can't beleive this. Guest guest
I dunno, except that I know that stress and low dietary intake both can contribute to hair loss. I now have recovered from that, and have the volume of hair back... But it surely is gray. Time for more of that Clairol stuff that does the trick in 5-10 minutes! I think you should eat all the (presumably) wonderful stuff your sis offers to feed you, and tell her that you don't need to be worrying about gray hair! That she has that job, without commenting on it to you, for the rest of your mutual lifetimes... Hey -- who cares? Dye bottles fix anything, these days! You can be a platinum blonde, or a raging redhead, if that's your druther! C. > > Your right Cammie! Guest guest
I'm not particular, as I reckon you can see from my photos. Clairol does have a dye that is permanent, requires a 10 minute (or maybe 5) to apply, and suits me just fine. Way better than the $60 a pop my hairdresser was charging ... and I think that the $60 was headed upward... It's a lot easier, and for some, more relaxing, to let others tend to it, and if that's a let-loose time for you, go for it. My hairdresser from that era tended to scream at me about her own family problems all the while I was there, and I did not find that relaxing in the least. My own bathtub works a lot better! ;~> C. > > When I was pregnant I was sick for 5 months and loss a lot of hair. > I think when it came back it was more grey.
