Guest guest
A lesson to you all. My splint did not feel right, my tongue touched a sharp corner all the time. There was no place for me to put my tongue. Last night I coughed and the splint just popped out and flipped over, opening my teeth about an inch. Before that there was only 1/4 inch gap. So I called my doctor and went in this afternoon and had it repositioned. Guess what, it was in completely wrong from the start. It feels totally different, like there is no gap when the splint is properly inserted. My tongue doesn't touch anything but a smooth surface. So the lesson is, if it does not feel right, or if there is any problem that bothers you, go get it checked. I had no idea what was right or wrong I just knew it did not feel good. Lesson learned.
