Anyone else having surgery in early March?

I'm having surgery March 9th, Mel is having surgery March 21st, is

anyone else having theirs around that time? We figured we could be

surgery buddies and commiserate as we go through this together....

That is NOT to say that we won't need all the veterans who have gone

before us for support and to answer crazy swelling/bruising/etc.

questions later!! Everyone's support and feedback here is and has

been invaluable- it is helpful particularly when some of those

individuals close to me and involved in my life can be skeptical, not

understanding or supportive, and just don't " see " what I'm talking

about or why I'm " doing this to myself " . Before I started learning

about orthognathic surgery and my jaw problems (that my first ortho

and all my dentists NEVER bothered to mention!), I didn't know that

not being able to bite into anything- sandwiches, cookies, pizza, an

apple- wasn't normal. I simply lived with it because it was all I

knew and all I had ever experienced. Because I didn't know any

better, I never questioned it. I think that is totally bizarre.
