Guest guest
I saved this question in my not-so-vast memory banks, so forgive me if I've got the wrong list. Someone (Debbie?) was asking about natural chelation. I just got this off of a website: http://www.healing-arts.org/children/holmes.htm " One substance that may have some good chelating properties is cilantro. The problem with this substance is that it is unknown at the present time exactly what the ingredient present in cilantro might be that may give it good chelating properties. Without knowing the identity of the actual chelating substance, it is impossible to know how much and how often it should be given. Also it is impossible to determine if all cilantro has the same amount of the unknown substance. It is probably a good idea not to use cilantro for chelating mercury until more is known about the substances involved. " Now, I know it says that you should not use it for chelating, but I'm wondering if Dr. Holmes means as a chelation protocol. Maybe just doing it at home on your own wouldn't hurt, but just might help. I'm also wondering about just eating it regularly to prevent any additional damage, like from any fish that you might eat. I'm really interested in this because my kids eat plain cilantro fairly often.
