Thanks to all with your responses.

I will inform police about autism because I'm sure she gave them an earful

about HER knowlege of autism. I will also inform my other neighbors that we

are friendly with, what new information there is about autism and newer

treatments.

I may even put a brief letter in HER maibox about autism and how each and

every child is different, with or without autsim. We all don't know how our

children will turn out, all we could do is teach them right and wrong and how

to be a good person. I am teaching my other children that it is wrong to

spread vicious rumors about the future outcome of a child or saying nasty

things about anyone, period.

You have all lifted me from my depression about incident. It opened my eyes

to make it my mission to make others more aware and knowledgable. I talked

to one neighbor who thinks this woman just needs something to stress about.

I could suggest she takes up a less malicious hobby.
