Guest guest
you can definitely freeze the whites. i like to freeze them in ice cube trays once frozen place in a bag. just defrost as many as you need- one white=one cube. they work great for meringues:p thaw in fridge or under cold running water. frozen they are good for 6 months. fridge shelf life for whites is 4-10 days/smells ok. yolks are only 4-5 days fridge/ 4 months freezer but you have to beat in some salt before freezing. > > If you split eggs, use the yolks, etc. how long > will the separated whites last in the fridge? > > Also, can you freeze them to keep them > longer? > > Mara >
