Hi friends,

Thanks to all of you who sent messages of support, encouragement and

advice. I have learned that you are all so wise, and I do have to

take this one day at a time.

I have not been perfect with the carbs, but I have stopped the candy

and the goldfish crackers. I never ever in my wildest dreams would

have imagined a problem with goldfish crackers, but whatever.

I'm also back to 2-3 meals a day with no snacking. The lack of carbs

is making that much easier. I have my moments, but I'm feeling

better.

This weekend will be tough - less structure and a big family BBQ

tomorrow. Someone gave me a box of candy last night as a gift. He

never knew me fat and doesn't know my WLS history. I'll make sure to

drop the candy off with my grandma this morning - she will be

thrilled.

I have lost 7.5 pounds already - which is amazing and a relief. I

keep trying to tell myself that my body doesn't want this extra

weight - I just have to work with it!

Thanks again for your support and encouragement. I'll keep plugging

away at no/low carbs!
