Hi everyone,

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I haven't responded lately as I have been very busy lately. I am in NC visiting my mom and family since Christmas. I have been able to spend time with my (2 yr) old niece, (1 yr old)nephew, sisters, grandfather(82) and a host of cousins. I am loving every minute. I am feel pretty good for a while now thank God. No problems with the sarcoids for now.

Last year , I went though a lot of testing as a result from abnormal test results from a physical. I had everything tested and my new dr. seems to enjoy sending me to different places to be tested. I have seen many specialists but thankfully I am more up -to -date in regards to my health status and I can start the new year with a clear conscience. At least I know what is going on in my body.

My diabetes has been doing well and I have been able to stop the meds for that and hypertenision is under control now thanks to meds and exercise and eating healthier. I am feeling the best I have felt in a long time. I know this is going to be a great year for me. I am believing that this one be the best one so far.

I am going to stop worrying about things that I can't change and focus on the things I can. This year I am going to trust my instincts and believe in myself and trust God that he will give me all the desires of my heart. Most of all I am going to be thankful for everything even the hard times because that is what has got me to where I am today and what will take me on to where I want to be.

Wishing you all a great year as well. Keep writing so I can keep reading.

Shauna in Atl (by way of NC) ;)
