Guest guest
Hello! Thanks for the warm welcome!!! My name is and I live in Clayton (a little city bordering Walnut Creek and the valley of Concord). My Parkshadeland's Kaiser doctor said I need to wait for Richmond Kaiser to call me, at which time I presume they'll tell me if I got accepted into the program. But after reading Robynn's reply I'm wondering now if I just need to patiently follow directions and wait until I get that phone call or should I initiate contact?. Do you think it'd be helpful to call them and plead my case so that they know how interested I am? But who do I call there? I already began my attempt at loosing some weight on my own. A healthy weight for someone my height is 160 lbs, which is where I was at in high-school and college. After getting married and having my child, the weight began creaping up little by little. I'm currently at 250 lbs. I've lost 8 lbs in the past 2 weeks by staying away from carbs and boxing 4 times/wk (now that I can't play volleyball due to my bad knees, I began boxing--I'm starting to realize that the boxing is not so gentle on my knees either, it sux!). But I tend to do that: I get to 220 and then I gain the weight back again. It's so frustrating!!! I really cannot wait to get back to my healthy weight and be able to live my life w/o any more pain.
