Guest guest
There is a small screw/bolt thing that requires an alan-wrench if I remember right (and if they haven't changed the design lately). When we got our bar it came with a wrench for this but maybe your dh has one in his tool box. Loosen that and the bar will adjust. s. How do I lenghthen the red bar? Ok, so I have read the tips and tricks sheet and it says to loosen the clamps on the red bar to lengthen it. Well you can't just pull them and I don't want to ruin them so I'm wondering how to loosen them. I have decided that I want to lengthen 's bar since her heels are about 4 " apart and from what I have read they should be shoulder length. Her bar has been set at the same length for the last 7 months! I asked her doctor last month if they needed to be farther apart and he said they are perfect. He follows Ponseti protocol, but I think is beginning to be uncomfortable. She is waking up a lot at night now and is starting to get red marks on her heels again. Thanks in advance for the help! Guest guest
Thanks! He had just what it took, and now they are wider, but I'm thinking she might need a new bar. They are as wide as they can go and they are not quite shoulder width apart. Guess this will do until her next appointment. She definitely seemed more comfortable last night, but she got pretty mad this morning when she couldn't figure out how to turn them over to get on her belly! I left her in them longer than normal so she could take some time to figure them out.
