Guest guest
My son's teacher wants the kids to bring to school on Monday a plastic bag with 1c wheat flour and 1/2 c salt in it. She'll add vegetable oil & water. The students will knead the bag to mix. Then they'll make a relief map, to be painted the next day. I'll have to sub the wheat of course. My question is: what's a good sub to make modelling clay that dries hard in a day? I've looked at playdough recipes, but they require boiling water, cooking, or a lot of extra items. Before I spend my day off experimenting in the kitchen & making a zillion bags of goop, does anyone have a fail- proof recipe?
