Guest guest
Ha ha! I suppose I should've looked at the date before my reply. I'm so glad you got in to see Dr. Ponseti. Aren't they great? So accommodating! I've been in Iowa since Sat. 1/28 and we'll be here till Mon. 2/13. Been here a week. Missing DH/Daddy a lot. We are a strong arguement for getting the clubfoot corrected correctly as early as possible. 's already walking so going back into a long-leg cast has been tough for him. He's making the best of it though, poor guy. I'm gonna have some really strong arms from lifting him by the time all of this is ð! Glad everything went well for you! > > Hey all! Our appt. with Dr. Ponseti was great! He said 's feet looked great, but that the muscles on the outside were weaker than on the inside, which is common and will resolve itself. He stated that he didn't feel he needed the smo for ankle control because he will gain this on his own. We may consider trying them in April if he is still doing it, as this is when we go back to our developmental doctor. Dr. Ponseti wants us to put the shoes on him during naps so that he will continue to get that stretch longer. This is no problem since doesn't really mind the brace anymore. > > Dr. Ponseti was wonderful! He is so caring, and he took the time to look over very well. has a lot of dimples, so he asked about those, and he checked his spine. He wanted to make sure everything was going great for us, not just with the clubfeet. Even though we had to drive 6 hours to see him, and 's feet were fine, it is great to have that reassurance and the experience of meeting such a wonderful man! > > , thanks for the email about the appt. How long have you been in Iowa? > > > 11/19/04 > > >
