Hi Gang,

I was wondering if you could offer me some insight on something. I've been

having some pain when I drink water (I've already posted about this before)

and also when I eat certain foods. It doesn't last long at all, but it is

very, very painful and uncomfortable when it happens. I am seven weeks out

as of yesterday, and I'm wondering if any of the rest of you have experienced

this? And if you have, when did it go away? I have a call in to my doctor

about this, but, as always, I look to these group for your " firsthand "

experiences.

It concerns me because I eat VERY little, and I drink VERY little. Right

now, there's no way I could possibly get 8-10 glasses of water in each day.

I can barely get down two. The thing of it is that I am very thirsty, but

unless I take very very small sips, and no more than about two or three at a

time, it hurts REAL bad when it gets down. Regarding food, I don't have the

pains EVERY time I eat, but I do have them more often than not. I can take

Tums after eating, and it DOES provide almost immediate relief.

I guess I just want to understand WHAT and WHY this is happening. I'm not

having any nausea or vomiting or diarrhea, jus these very annoying pains.

Have any of you experienced this?

Thanks so much for your help!!

Hugs,

Pam in MD
