Guest guest Posted June 18, 2006 Report Share Posted June 18, 2006 Hi Damaris, I am sorry about your trouble but at least your doctor is on top of things and wants to catch it in case it is something to worry about. In my husband's case he had a malignant sarcoma growing in his hamstring for about 4 years and when my husband first mentioned the lump the doctor said it wasn't any thing to worry about. We were lucky that after 2 surgeries and 1 round radiation he has remained cancer free for 5 years. Two of my sisters have also had lumps detected but when they did the needle biopsies they were negative. I know you are scared but don't give into food to comfort you.
