Guest guest
Kathleen, Thanks so much! I emailed them, and I am glad to hear everything is going so well with . Who is his doctor? We just got back from ours which is 2 hours away, but with our developmental doctor thinking he needs this because he rests his foot on the outside, I would like to see if it is a clubfoot problem or another development issue. I really don't want to go so far if I could get someone's opinion close by. leenernd wrote: - Thanks for the reply-we are really excited and so pleased with the Ed team evaluation. More than likely we will only do speech therapy twice a month just due to our work schedule-unless we find a weekend or night therapist. With regards to the Smo's, we love them and david refuses barefoot time. Its almost as if he knows that they really help him with support. He gets frustrated when he is barefoot because he tends to be wishy washy with the ankle support so he will crawl to his smos and bring them to us to put on. He wears the sure step smo's which I highly recommend. They are made here in south bend, but he sells them all over the country. He reminds me a lot of -he's an orthotist who's son needed smo's and when he saw what was on the market-he knew he could make something better. Here's a link to his website so you can check it out: http://www.surestep.net/ As much as I hate the fact that he is in a brace(s) almost 24/7, i know that in the long run both help him. He's had them for a month and they have yet to cause/inhibit his progress with his club feet.
