RD,

Congratulations on coming close to the end of your SARPE journey!

If all goes well with my insurance, I should be having the same thing

done this summer.

Do you have any pre-op or post-op tips or advice?

Kate

Hi there RD

Ohh I am so excited for you, I have just had my RPE out today!

I only had mine in for a month (thank god) and have a 4mm gap and

2mm gap(it was cememented in with plastic surrounding all the upper

mouth, not seen that kind before) I can honestly say it feels

fantastic to be free of it. Free of blisters on the tounge and

more so, to be able to speak without slurring and spitting.

My teeth are quite sensitive and loose but you can notice where its

widened the top jaw slightly, really amazing, can't wait for surgery

to see more change!

Roll on the 10th March and i bet after you won't be able to stop

rubbing the roof of your mouth!!
