Guest guest
Dear Randy, I have the exact same thing going on. I just went to Puerto Rico with a friend and he commented on how much I ate. My trainer said the other day that my metabolism is about 20% faster since I have muscle. Like you, I freak a little from time to time, but I've been in 34 pants since surgery. After I leave the gym, I often go to Jack in the Box and get the big breakfast sandwich. Even if I eat very, very slowly and chew it to liquid, I have to throw about half the bread away. Only one time did I actually eat the whole thing. Adequate nutrition, as you know, is really essential after you tear your muscles up at the gym. I work next to a guy who's always been kind of a light eater and been lean and muscular. He and I eat about the same thing. He can eat more at a sitting, but I'm back at the food sooner. Gosh, I don't know what the point of this ramble is, but I know exactly how you feel. I guess it's kind of hard now to remember how much we at before. IMHO, a boneless chicken breast, some pasta, salad is a pretty healthy way to eat. Just relax! in Austin RNY April 1998 Eating sizes, but have added a great deal of muscle. Amazing to see the pics. Anyway, now to my question. I was at work, eating last night, and someone commented on how much I ate. I ate a pork chop, a coupla' ounces of dressing and a medium sized salad with some chicken salad and three sugar free cookies. Thinking about what I eat, on a normal basis ( I could get in an entire bag of chips if I allowed myself), I'm wondering if something is wrong. I've been told, by people that know other bypass! > patients, that I eat way more than anyone else they know. I'm not concerend about gaining, (Well actually my mind freak's everytime I get on the scale and it's gone up a few pounds) I know that I look better now with all the muscle, if I could just convince my mind that it's okay to eat the amounts I eat. I'm not so sure it is. My mom is about 13 years out and I think I can out eat her. Anyone else eat like this? Typically I can eat an entire boneless chicken breast with some pasta, a small salad and a few crackers. > Someone hit me up with a reply. > BTW: I'm updating my pics on the site that's got a recent muscle pic... I love that pic...LOL... > Randy > >
