Guest guest
Well I am doing wonderful! I have now lost 130 pounds and I have 69 more to go to get to my final goal. I, as of today, can wear my mothers dresses. That has never been a possibility until now. I look so much better. I get so many compliments and so many words of encouragment from people. Went to a meeting last night at my support group and everyone looked so good and everyone was so happy. It felt good to be around such good people. We were paired up with pre-op patients. I was paired up with a man named Floyd who was wanting to know about all I had gone through. It is a good feeling to know that now you can help people in the same way that you were helped back when. Paying back a good debt gives one a good feeling. I have taken up bowling. I still try to ride my bicycle when my knees allow. I am iron deficient and the doctor called in a strong iron and vitamin pill called ICAR C I think it is called. Plus I have been eating some liver to boost things along. Fortunately I like liver. I remember Mom telling me I was anemic as a baby and the doctor told her to feed me liver. I was wondering though since my iron was down if it would affect your menstrual cycle. I have heard it would. I dunno though. I did find a pic three months prior to surgery that I have been trying to get into the photos in the groups. For some reason they wouldn't upload. I will keep working on it though. God Bless you all and SKINNY WISHES! Love and hugs to you all...........
