Guest guest
Whadd'ya call about a dozen kidney stones? A " cluster, " or a " clutch? " Well, given the way they announce themselves, how about a " clouch? " Don't want to obsess or to bore you with more gory details, but, DAMN! I know my body when it talks to me! The X-Ray might have said, " no more stones in there, " but the way I felt excruciating pain even through the Percoset on Friday, I just KNEW that there had to be more stones in there. I was right. Today, three moderately-sized (about 2 mm) ones appeared at the orifice, and then in my next trip to " porcelaind, " four BIG ones, each about the size of a Rice Krispy, plus some " star dust " made their appearance. So, if my count is correct, that is at least a dozen stones since Wednesday. (Gonna make for one heck of a tie-tack collection!) ENOUGH ALREADY, I GET THE MESSAGE!! Drink, drink, drink, drink . . . and cut the cheese (and berries, ice cream, broccoli, etc.--stamp out oxalates)! Who posted the remark about stones at four months out not being uncommon? Was it you, Cindy? Can you say more? For example, did they stop after a while? 'cause they have a way of spoiling one's entire day. --Steve -- Steve Goldstein, age 61 Lap BPD/DS on May 2, 2001 Dr. Elariny, INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Virginia Starting (05/02/01) BMI = 51 BMI on 09/16 = 41 (-64 lb.)
