Going to court for denial..Brachy

Hello all,

We appealed our 1st denial letter for coverage on our Starband. It was recently

denied even with the most awesome appeal letter...

Since Cash has Brachy there denial reason was " baby was diagnosed with

Brachycephaly:diagonal measurements are symmetrical "

So.....has anyone taken it to State Hearing with Brachy? I just want to have

some imput on if there is a chance. Please help, your comments are greatly

appreciated.

Hi Season, What do you mean by state hearing? Taking your insurance company to

the state court system with your appeal?

Luke, 6 months, 2 weeks, severe brachy, mild plagio

Hi again,Yes. Our Insurance company denied our claim for having no difference in

diagonal measurements and not being medically necessary & cosmetic. We then

appeal it in writing. They denied it again. So now we are going to the Office of

Administrative Hearing for a fair hearing for our case.

I'm nervous about the " no diagonal measurements part because he has Brachy.

However Brachy is an abnormal skull which does need to be fixed to prevent

further abnormal growth & possible TMJ, ear infections ect...

I'm just curious if anyone has appealed with brachy.
