Guest guest
Thanks Pam Although your post wasn't meant for me, I am also a smoker and I'm having a hard time quitting. My surgery is scheduled for July 19, 2004 and my doc. insisted I quit at least 3 months before. I actually started trying to quit in April and did very well using the patches, however, after the 1st 6 weeks of not smoking or just 1 here and there it seemed to become harder. I am still struggling and still smoking between 1-4 a day, which I don't think is too bad considering I was a pack a day smoker before. I try not to buy cigarettes, but have bought a couple of packs along the way, which seem to last for several days. I'm glad to hear that you had no ill affects from smoking and surgery. I hope I'm as lucky. Good luck with trying to quit again. It's soooo hard. gale in maryland _________________________________________________________________ Stop worrying about overloading your inbox - get MSN Hotmail Extra Storage! http://join.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200362ave/direct/01/
