Well, I was all set to go up to SSF tomorrow for LS4 - and then when I

checked my messages at work this morning I found out that I'd been

rescheduled to July 14. Apparently they had too many people scheduled

for this week's class and they had to push some of us out a few weeks.

However, since I'm going to be at a conference on that day, I've now

had to move even further out - July 28! *SIGH*

However, the upside to this is that it gives me six more weeks to get

the last 15 lbs off before the class, and they told me that if I come

to that class at or below my target weight they'll put me right into

the queue for surgery at that time without needing to have any further

assessment by the surgeon. It seems that if your initial goal is 325

or higher, you have to meet with the surgeon and be reassessed before

they'll schedule you at SSF - but if your initial goal weight is below

that amount they'll schedule you as soon as you meet the goal.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, everyone. Now that we're into summer

session (I work in a college) my schedule is much better and I've

added in several more exercise classes each week and more support

group meetings. It's begun to have an effect; I finally started

moving down again after several weeks of basically staying in one

place, and if I can keep it up like this for the next six weeks I may

even manage to get below my goal.
