Guest guest
No worries! It is very common, my son had the same thing and his went away about a month or so after graduation. He wore 2 bands for almost 8 months, so I think maybe the longer you wear it, the longer it takes to go away, but it does go away. Our therapist at CT said anywhere between 2 weeks and 2 months. Think of it like wearing a tight pair of socks or pantyhose for a long time, when you take them off, you have that ridge in your skin. It's sort of the same thing. Our clinician says it's so common to any babies and it will go away once she's done with the band. She also told us that it's not bone that's sticking out. > > I'd like to hear other people's experiences regarding this small bump. Guest guest
Hi, Thanks for the reply. Can I ask you one more thing? The bump she has is hard. It seems as hard as her bone. Was your son's hard like his bone or soft? I know it's getting ridiculous but just wanna triple check and make sure it's not her actual bone that's sticking out. Thanks, KKLA007 > > > > Hi, all > > > > I have this concern regarding my daughter's DOC band from Cranial Tech. > > > > My daughter's been wearing a band for a month and half now. Guest guest
It was hard. I can't remember quite how hard, but it was definitely hard, not squishy or soft. It ran the length of the velcro opening and was as wide as the opening.
