Guest guest
My pre-op appointment was pretty much a whole day. I had to go to the lab and take tests, I had to go to pre-admissions and fill out all the paperwork for getting admitted, then I had to talk to a counselor, they had to make sure I knew what the surgery was about and make sure I was capable of handling it, then I had to go to the anesthesiest however you spell it and they explained what kind they were going to use on me and answer questions and make sure I knew the results and then make sure I wasnt a druggy and trying to get free meds out of this surgery. Doing all of this wouldnt actually take all day but since there were all these people in front of me and I had to wait my turn it ended up taking most of the day. kEV S wrote:heheh true that... they are expensive things tho... 40 bucks a pop plus 30 for the jewellery..lol ceast36532 <no_reply > wrote: I think you'd do well to put aside this worry. Probably they will ask you to remove it before surgery. Maybe before the prep, too. But honey, that isn't gonna be a big worry for you -- or if it is the biggest on your mind, be grateful for it. That sounds ominous, and I don't mean it that way. But I could have both my ears pierced (again) and not be bothered in the least. You're gonna have some more serious healing to think about.
