Our recent understanding is that the company produces a soy based margarine

on the same line as the shortening. And though they clean their lines

extensively between runs (at this point we are not clear whether it is an

issue with soy lecithin, protein, or both) a risk of cross contamination

exists in principle. When we know more we will post it at our new site (by

the actual product specifics) and I will try to send an email.
