A New Year and a Lighhouse

I want to start off wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Reading your

posts for the last several months have really helped me as I am

starting this journey on NS. At times I feel like I have learned more

than I want to know about NS and my emotions run wild not having the

confirmed diagnosis yet. They are setting up an appointment with a

neurosurgeon to talk about doing a biopsy to the lining of the brain

which is thicker than normal. I am sure all of you are use to that

hurry up and wait game with specialists.

I just want to say that it helps me when I read these post especially

when people vent their feelings with this disease. I do not know what

this year will hold but I am preparing to take journey as prepared as

possible knowing I will get blindsided at times. I see this group as

the lighthouse that I can look for at those times. So please all of

you please keep you light shinning as there is one following down the

path that you have already traveled and you may be the one that will

keep him on his path when he gets blindsided

I have decided to make my motto for 2009

" I am here today for such a time as this "
