Guest guest
In response to the person who's doctor said that they would be on a diet for life. I am 4 1/2 months out, do I feel that I am on a diet? NO But in truth, if I could have eaten this way before, I don't think I would have become fat in the first place. A diet is just a way of eating, we are forced to change the way we ate before to a better way. This is true for most of us. There are a few who didn't eat large amounts before, but I know I wasn't one of those. I wasn't a sweet eater, although I liked an occasional sweet. But I would make a meat loaf with 3 lbs of beef and my husband and I would finish most of it for dinner and snack on the rest later that night. I sure can't do that anymore. BTW my husband is seeing Dr. Macura this week to see if he can get the DS too. He has been trying to reduce his food intake, it works for a while but after a while, the cravings catch up.
